Finishes
Every Railing Masters system is finished to an architectural specification. The coating is chosen by exposure, warranty expectation and color, and applied by certified coating partners.
Choose the AAMA class by exposure.
The AAMA class is the most useful thing to settle in a specification. It sets how well the coating must hold its color and gloss, and every product below is classified against it.
| Standard | Exposure class | Typical use | Performance |
|---|---|---|---|
| AAMA 2603 | General exposure | Interior and sheltered exterior; standard commercial and residential work. | Baseline color and gloss retention |
| AAMA 2604 | Intermediate exposure | Mid-rise and multi-residential exterior guards. | 5-year color and gloss retention criteria |
| AAMA 2605 | High exposure | High-rise, waterfront, and monumental architecture. | 10-year color and gloss retention criteria |

Specifying a finish
Give us three things and we can price and produce the finish: the AAMA class, the color reference (RAL, or a matched sample), and the gloss level. If the project has a façade color already selected, we will match to the approved sample rather than to a book reference.
Send us the elevation. We'll send back the system.
Tell us the mounting condition, guard height and code jurisdiction. We'll come back with the recommended system, a stamped detail set and a materials list you can put straight into the spec.
