RM-EDGE™ G3300-TM

Architectural Slim Post Adjustable Top-Mounted Glass Railing System

The most transparent EDGE system, on a 1½" slim post with the glass captured in the handrail and field adjustment built in.

What sets it apart: The least visual mass in the range. A 1½" slim post replaces the 1½" × 2½" profile for maximum transparency, without giving up the welded frame or the adjustability.

System overview

The RM-EDGE™ G3300-TM is a premium welded aluminum and glass guard system featuring a slim structural post profile and integrated glass capture at the handrail to achieve maximum transparency and refined architectural appearance.

The system incorporates adjustable installation capability while maintaining a rigid welded structural frame, suiting high-performance residential and commercial balcony applications.

Designed for projects requiring minimal visual mass, precise alignment and consistent façade presentation.

02

Configuration

  • Welded aluminum glass guard system for top-mounted balcony and terrace applications
  • Structural aluminum 1½" slim post assembly for reduced visual obstruction
  • Continuous extruded aluminum handrail profile designed to receive and capture the top edge of glass panels, eliminating the need for a separate glass channel
  • Integrated adjustment capability to accommodate slab variation and ensure consistent guard elevation
  • Shop-welded post and base assemblies fabricated under controlled manufacturing conditions
  • Fixed, rigid system once installation and adjustment are completed
  • Laminated safety glass infill panels in thicknesses as required by project design
  • Suitable for high-rise, mid-rise and low-rise buildings
03

Materials

  • Weld-appropriate aluminum structural components (6061-T6, 6005A-T6 / 6063-T6)
  • Architectural handrail extrusion with integrated glass capture
  • Tempered laminated safety glass infill
  • Stainless steel fasteners and concealed setting hardware
  • Isolation materials to prevent galvanic interaction
Extrusions supplied by certified North American manufacturers with mill certification available.
04

Fabrication

  • All aluminum welding performed under controlled shop conditions in accordance with AWS D1.2 Structural Welding Code — Aluminum
  • No field welding of structural aluminum components permitted
  • Welded assemblies designed to maintain structural continuity and panel rigidity
  • Fabrication tolerances maintained for glass alignment and façade consistency
  • Post-weld preparation completed prior to finishing
05

Mounting & anchorage

  • Surface mounted to structural slab
  • Anchorage engineered based on project loading requirements
  • Mechanical anchors or threaded rod systems utilized
  • Adjustment capability accommodates slab variation without compromising performance
  • Waterproofing coordination maintained
Shop drawings provided showing anchorage layout and adjustment range.
06
